Massive $1.00 Record Sale Sunday 5/5
THE DOLLAR SALE AT BLACK GOLD IS ON!!!
We ain’t ‘fraid of no rain. For whatever reason, the Spring dollar sale weather has been less than awesome for the past many years, but we are sticking to our guns as always to offer you thousands of records at only $1.00 each at Black Gold Records, 461 Court Street, Brooklyn, NY. The sale begins at 10am sharp and will continue until 5pm.
You can expect all genres of music: Rock ‘n’ Roll, New Wave, Hip-Hop, Jazz, Blues, Pop, Dance, Metal, Alternative, Soul, Funk, Classical, Disco, Oddities, and so on… Some records here and there will be still sealed and never played, others will have signs of use… condition will vary from “eh” to “awesome!” This is the 20th time we’ve hosted the sale in in 9 years and they are always a wild time!
RULES:
Anyone is welcome to dig in. Their are records for everyone from beginning collectors to moderate collectors to hoarders to dealers. If the box you are looking in at first isn’t the type of music you are into, try another box – there is no order whatsoever to the dollar records.
These records have not previously been for sale in the store and will not be available for any reason after 5pm on Sunday. We will have bags but buyers are encouraged to bring their own. Boxes and crates are encouraged as well if you are planing on buying a lot.
Our listening station will not be available for browsing any records this weekend, please to not expect to be able to do that. Buyers are welcome to bring his or her own portable turntables, but outlets will not be provided so bring batteries.
There is no limit to how many records you can buy, just please don’t make a mess!
All 12″s and LPs are $1.00 each, 45s are 2 for $1.00. Box sets count as one record, (don’t worry, we know the deal).
Spend over $100.00 CASH and receive a 10% discount. No other discounts will be given on the sale records or any other records in the store so please don’t ask. Cash and credit are both accepted for the sale records but the discount is for CASH of $100 or more only.
