New Vinyl Arrivals: Here is a sample of a collection of hardcore and punk that will be going out today.  Also, more reggae and 90’s indie and grind will hit the bins as well.

Buying Vinyl: We are always paying top dollar for LPs and 45s that are in great shape.  We also offer credit, if you want to move some of your records to us for trade.  You can call us at 347.227.8227 or e-mail us at info@blackgoldbrooklyn.com.  Walk-ins are always welcome, but we ask that if you have more than one crate of records to sell or trade, that you call us first so we can set up an appointment.

Thanks Everyone for the overwhelming response we received Sunday after we played our guest spot on Paul Cavalconte’s  The Vinyl Experience show on 101.9 WRXP.  Not only were we very pleased with the program in its entirety, but Paul who is a very genuine appreciator of the vinyl format as well as the real, tangible experience of  playing and talking about great music really lived up to the title of his show, The Vinyl Experience.  Make sure you do what you can to tune in and support him and your favorite format. [Sundays from 9am EST – 10am EST. Live stream available also]

LPs such as this repress [Dark Entries 2010] of the 1982 synth classic by Dark Day [R. L. Crutchfield] are going out this week.

Back In Stock: Tote bags are available again, and to recap on what that means: $15 gets you a stylish bag to carry your records around in and also grants the bearer a 10% discount off of future vinyl purchases.

New Arrivals: TONS of original Dancehall and Reggae as well as a few Minimal Synth and Electro treats are going to be going out steadily. Some local and international Indie LPs are in stock and a handful of random records are being priced as you read this. We’re trying to budget our time and get some more solid 45s out on the floor very shortly too.
