WFMU !!! Black Gold has a table for Saturday, November, 23rd at the WFMU Record Fair! The fair will be at Metropolitan Pavilion, 125 West 18th Street in New York City. We have some really exciting things in store for this. Check it out:
One full table of rare and sought after Jazz, Soul, Rock, Disco, Indie, Punk, etc. We will have mostly LPs and 12″s but a few boxes of choice 45s will also be available. As always the records on the table will be in top shape, free of imperfections and priced to move. We are cracking into a collection of 3,000 records that have not yet been processed for the shop… don’t expect to see stuff you’ve seen already for sale in the shop. The stash looks insane.
Every crate that is underneath the table will be filled with records that will be $7.00 each. There will be anything from VG to VG+ thrash metal records to Microgroove Blue Notes, to private press soul, unofficial punk, rare folk, test presses, white labels, promos, etc. Records we’ve stashed all year for this. We’re hoping it causes a scene. Cheapskates and resellers, “you’re welcome” in advance.

We Are Pulling In So Many Collections, so quickly that we had to make some changes and expand the “recent arrivals” LP bins to the bottom of the browser as well. The recent arrival 12″ singles are now near the showcase by the 12″ A-Z section (we are working to tighten that area up as well). These are great problems to have for all of us.
